Just thought i would give a simple review of the IB15A which i've had for about 2 weeks now. I normally don't do reviews but since i am very impressed with this sub i though i should give it the praise it deserves so other people can know. My system consist of: Alpine 9830 head unit, CDT EF-61 carbon fiber components, 100 sq feet damplifier pro sound deadener, Soundstream Van Gogh VGA 500.4 4 channel amp ( 125 w x 2 rms for the components and 500 x 1 rms bridged for the sub @4 ohms ) and one AE IB15A subwoofer.

I have the sub crossed over @80 hz with a 12 db slope. The sub is mounted to a 3/4" MDF baffle in place of the back seat brace and is securely bolted and sealed with expanding foam around the sides and there are 2 layers of damlifier pro sound deadener covering all of the rear deck.

This subwoofer sounds excellent! It has a nice flat response, is very acurrate, plays very deep, and blends very well with the rest of the system. The thing i like the most about it is the accurate frequency response. If listening to a kick drum of upper bass note it plays it very precise with no overhang whatsoever but when there is a real low note it digs deep and shakes the hell out of everything while sounding super clean and controlled.
So if you like clean accurate bass the can go real low this is an excellent subwoofer to consider provided you have the proper installation.
And for $149 it is an excellent deal for the quality.
Thanks for a great subwoofer AE!
